Flight of the dandelion

Feathers dropped by angel wings
light and soft as in your dreams
rising into a stunning sky
carried away by a gentle breeze
along the path of the mountain
into the silence of forests
following shadows of the moon
hidden behind tingling stars
and with the first smile of the sun
blazing through the window
for your dreams to come true.

At the age of five, Meng Qiu dreamt of her grandpa in a scene only she foreknew. This marked a journey of lucid dreams documented in narratives and drawings, mostly being reflective but some also predictive. Today, she works across a variety of media including paintings, photography, sculpture and creative writing. With an educational background in art and psychology, she uses the medium of art to explore relationships between artistic impression and psychological expression
